"I'm doing the 2017 CrossFit Open because why not? I have watched the CrossFit Games for 3 years now and just a week ago actually started my CrossFit journey. The Open is a way for me to challenge myself even more and push myself past the limits I even knew I had. In a year from now, I can look back on this and see how far I have grown. I'm doing it for me and I think everyone should as well!"

"I am doing the 2017 CrossFit Games Open because I want to see how far I have come in my first year of CrossFit. The Open in 2016 started 2 months into my CrossFit journey so it was hard to judge where my fitness level truly was. This year I look forward to pushing myself to be better than last year and see all of my hard work pay off. I enjoy the competitive aspect of The Open in the way that it pushes you to your limit to leave everything you have on the floor and finish the workouts to the best of your ability, whether I finish first or last, it's the fact that I finished that makes me feel accomplished."
